College of Pharmacy Organizes Scientific Workshop on Traditional Medicine

The College of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University for Women, through its Continuing Education Division, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Traditional Medicine” on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. The workshop was presented by Lect. Dr. Nafisa Ghorbanali and targeted faculty members and students.

The workshop explored various traditional medical systems practiced around the world and the role of medicinal plants and herbal remedies in the development of pharmacology. It also emphasized the importance of scientific research in evaluating the efficacy and safety of traditional treatments.

The workshop was held as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to promote scientific awareness and advance knowledge in the medical and pharmaceutical fields.
