Monitoring Student Absences
The College of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University for Women places great importance on ensuring the quality of the educational process and maintaining an appropriate academic environment that supports students’ success and academic excellence. In line with the vision of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and in accordance with the University’s policies, the College implements a systematic and careful approach to monitoring student absences and addressing violations in a fair and structured manner, with the aim of promoting academic commitment and discipline.
Monitoring student absences is considered a key step in ensuring continuity of academic achievement. Absences are treated with seriousness, and their reasons are discussed through communication with parents or guardians when necessary. Cases that require further action are referred to the relevant disciplinary committees to ensure that decisions are made with fairness and transparency, reflecting the College’s commitment to balancing firmness with understanding of individual circumstances.
In addition, the College is committed to monitoring compliance with the official dress code and standards of modesty, in order to promote an academic environment that respects societal values and traditions. Appropriate measures are taken in cases of non-compliance to uphold the ethical values that form a fundamental pillar of the College’s vision.
Through these procedures, the College of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University for Women seeks to establish an integrated educational environment that focuses on developing students’ academic and personal skills, while maintaining the highest levels of support and commitment to students and their parents, in alignment with the national objectives of higher education.
