As part of the Technology Corner activities at Al-Zahraa University for Women’s Arbaeen service procession, Simaa Al-Moamen, a fourth-year student in the Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering, delivered an engaging interactive experience that introduced children to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence through a smart helmet.

She explained how the helmet operates, demonstrating how it relies on motion and sound sensors to interact with users. The hands-on activity provided children with a practical introduction to real-world AI applications, simplifying complex technological concepts in an enjoyable and age-appropriate manner while encouraging their curiosity and interest in innovation.

The activity attracted enthusiastic participation from children, who had the opportunity to experience the smart helmet firsthand. The initiative reflects the College of Engineering and Information Technology’s commitment to employing modern technologies to promote knowledge, inspire innovation among younger generations, and integrate educational experiences into the spiritual and service-oriented atmosphere of the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
